What is Astrology? What can it do for you? Is
it accurate? These are all good questions. Let me try to answer
them for you.
Astrology is actually an ancient science that
is based on the fact that the universe functions as one unit, and
anything that works in one part of the universe also works in all
parts of the universe. Astrology is a mathematical science that
looks at the position of each planet in the sky and then using
angles and degrees interprets how these planets affect and interact
with each other.
By studying these planets and the angles they
make to each other, we can discover tendencies, attributes, and
challenges.
With this information we can do many things.
We can study general character traits from a natal chart and look at
ways to strengthen healthy traits. We can transform energies that
may by their nature cause difficulties and problems. We can learn
to fully develop our abilities. We can receive answers to
questions; pick a good time to start something new; assess
compatibility; and look ahead to a roadmap of the future.
Is all this accurate? For me as an astrologer,
I am still amazed at how much information you can receive from a
chart and sometimes I am amazed at the kind of information. I
recently did a horary chart (to answer clear and well defined
questions) for someone and expected a yes or no answer. Instead of
getting an answer I got the information that there was something
hidden about the question. When I went back to the person, they
revealed that there was something they had not told me.
There are several types of charts that can be
done. Below is a list of them and a description of each one. You
may want to try astrology and see for yourself what it is, what it
can do for you and then decide if you feel it is accurate or not.
Natal Chart - Search into the moment of your
birth to find your natural strong points, challenges, and talents.
Look at the flow and direction of your life as seen at the moment of
your birth. As you learn to move with the natural flow of your
life, you can attain a better understanding of yourself and your
behaviors. Learn to maximize the positive side of the energies you
were born with and use the challenges of your birth chart to grow
and expand into a better you.
Solar Chart - A look at the year ahead. Each
year the sun returns to the spot it was in at the exact moment of
your birth. Each year when the sun returns to its original
position, the other planets will be in different positions. These
planetary positions will change each year. By reading this new
chart you will have a roadmap for the upcoming year. You can learn
where the focus of the year will be, and look ahead at points of
strain and ease. By studying the energy of the aspects and planets,
you can learn to handle easy and difficult issues as they come up.
This process can then help to build a better future. This chart is
best done around your birthday because this is when the solar year
begins.
Horary Chart - Horary is an astrological tool
to answer any clear, well defined question. A chart is produced
from the exact moment the question is asked to the astrologer. It is
important that the question is clear and precise. Questions that
are sincere and important to you will provide an answer. You can
get answers about buying and selling, business or personal
questions, health, travel, safety, love, moving, and even about lost
items.
Election Chart - In election astrology you
work to pick the best moment for a new endeavor. In this situation,
you would know what you want, and then you work to find the best
moment (chart) to get what you want. You can pick a time to start a
new business, get married, buy a car, buy or sell property, or have
an operation.
Synastry Chart - This is done by comparing
two charts. You look at the two different charts finding
similarities, difficulties, and ways to understand each individual’s
needs, desires, abilities and limits. Through these comparisons,
you can learn if two people are likely to click, if there will be
many conflicts, and how they can enhance or hinder each other. This
can give you are real understanding of how a person thinks, acts,
and why they behave certain ways.
